The

Article 4.

Any person who during the Japanese occupation acquired or was in possession or control of (a) any property which was on the 25th of December 1941 vested in the Custodian of Enemy Property within the meaning of sec. 15 (2) of the Ordinance; or (b) of any property the dividends or interest of which or the share of profits in which should have been paid to such Custodian under the Ordinance;

shall forthwith give full particulars of and information regarding such property and such dividends interests and share of profits To Custodian of Enemy Property in such form as he may require and shall produce to him all accounts in his possession.

Article 5.

Prohibited Transactions No person shall dispose of or enter into any agreement in respect of any property mentioned in Article 4 here of or of the dividends or profits thereof or of the interest thereon without a permit from the Custodian in addition to any other licence permit or authorisation which may be required by or by virtue of any enactment.

Article 6.

Delegation. The Custodian/Enemy Property may delegate any duty or power under this Proclamation or under the Ordinance or any other matter or things which he may or is required to do by or under this Proclamation or the Ordinance to any person.

Article 7.

Indemnity The Custodian of Enemy Property and every other person appointed for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this Proclamation or of the Ordinance shall not be liable for any act or omission done in good faith by way of giving or purporting to give effect, to this Proclamation, or to any regulation made or anything authorised by virtue there of, or to the Ordinance.

Article 8.

Regulations. The Chief Civil Affairs Officer may make regulations to provide for

Additional functions, duties or powers of the Custodian;

(c) the manner in which and the conditions subject to which the Custodian is to carry out his functions and duties and exercise his powers;
